Children First uses the lodging and food service of a guest house in the Port-au-Prince area called the MSI Guest House. It is owned and operated by Mission Support International Haiti.
Children First makes arrangements for each mission team going to Haiti to work in the Port-au-Prince area to stay at the MSI Guest House which is about 40 minutes from the PAP airport.
The Guest House is a bed and breakfast style accommodations without individual guest rooms. It is safe, clean, comfortable, well managed and low cost. Daily food service includes breakfast and dinner. The team eats together. Team member brings from America snack food for lunch. Ample purified water is provided at the guest house and at the mission site. Some rooms are air conditioned at the MSI. All rooms have fans to help sleeping conditions. Guest will be sleeping on nice bunk beds with sheets and pillow cases provided.
There is 110 electrical service is available for charging batteries and Wi-Fi is available most of the time.
